1099 Information for SoftPro Standard & Enterprise Users
4419: Updated by the IRS in September 2019
- The IRS will only accept new requests for TCC code via the FIRE website
- Complete and submit to the IRS: use this only to request modification or additional TCC codes
Substitute 1099-S Forms: Updated by the IRS in January 2017
The updated forms contain a box that should be checked if the transferor (seller) is a foreign person. This is a different concept than a foreign address, since a US citizen could have a foreign address or vice versa. If your 1099-S forms are missing the field, "X here if foreign person", contact SoftPro Support for assistance.
